National Geographic Islander Cruise Review
Itinerary: Islander Galapagos - June 2011
Magical is the only word that comes to mind. Both in the destination and the whole experience.
Linda, you are the best, you prepared us for everything. We came to you with other ideas and you cleared out the junk and crystallized what was important and what to look for in our choice of a ship.
I can't say enough about the service, the smiles, the education that was presented us in a short time on the Islander. The staff was as thrilled to be there as we were. Their enthusiasm was intoxicating. The animals and sea life were surrounding us at every turn. We never saw one iguana, one sea lion, one penguin, one turtle, when we saw them we really saw them, they were everywhere. Each island and each day a new experience that seems to not be able to top the prior day, but yet does.
We loved our cabin location of #405. Being on the top deck was very special. We saw the Category 5 and only wish we could have afforded that, but we were not in our cabin all that much and we were happy with our choice and your suggestions.
As this was a special get away for our anniversary, at times we wish we had our kids with us. Only way to solve that is to come back. We will call you for summer 2012 and will need two cabins for the four of us.
Thank you for everything, you are the best. We enjoyed the bottle of wine with new friends at our table. Thank you.
